Joelle Briggs-Sears was raised in the Quinte area and has strong ties to the local community. Joelle graduated from Quinte Secondary School in 2003. In 2007, Joelle graduated with distinction from Brock University, where she received her Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Joelle went on to obtain her law degree from Queen's University in 2010. Joelle joined Bonn Law Office as an articling student in 2010 and continued as an associate on her call to the bar in June 2011.
Joelle focuses her work on litigation, personal injury and insurance dispute files. Joelle also will defend Provincial Offence Act matters.
Joelle is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Hastings County Law Association, and the Frontenac Law Association.
Joelle has been very involved with the community from a very early age and continues to do so. As the daughter of a Trenton Rotarian, Joelle has volunteered at various Trenton Rotary Club activities. She also participates in local fundraising events for Heart and Stoke, the Canadian Cancer Society, the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation, and Soldier On. Joelle is currently a board member for VON Community Care Quinte West.
Joelle understands that individuals turn to lawyers when they are in difficult situations, and it is often a daunting choice for someone to decide to retain a lawyer.
